Stow Maries Aerodrome Memorial
Stow Maries Aerodrome was in service during the First World War.
It is now undergoing a
restoration process for the buildings and equally important research
into its past.
A memorial has been erected
for those serving in 37 (Home Defence) Squadron, Royal Flying Corps
and later Royal Air Force who served in defence of this country from
Stow Maries, Goldhanger and Rochford Aerodromes in the County of
Essex from 1916 to 1919.
