Southminster Church Bell appeal 1914
In
1914 the bells at
St Leonard's Church needed substantial work on
them and an appeal was launched.
As a result of the donations
The third bell was recast
All bells were quarter turned,
tuned and rehung
New fittings were provided
A new oak bell frame together with three
new beams were erected.
