Kathleen Wendy Peyton, MBE aka K M Peyton
Kathleen Wendy Peyton has
written 67 books from 1947 to 2008 and has received numerous awards
under the name K M Peyton.
She is best known for the
Flambards series of books about the Russell Family at the time of
the Great War which were bestselling books that became a popular TV
series.
She was awarded a MBE in
2014
