Burnham on Crouch

The Kangaroo in 1894

Coastguards used and lived in the watch vessel Chanticleer and then Kangaroo .

These were moored near to the current site of the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club

The vessels were replaced by a wooden watch house in the same spot.
